Teeth Whitening Home Remedies

Many people want to get a whiter smile, but don’t want to spend a lot of money on expensive whitening kits, or having it done professionally. Luckily there are teeth whitening home remedies you can use with products you probably already have around the house.

Lemon juice is actually wonderful for whitening teeth because of the acids in it. Unfortunately, using this too often could weaken the enamel of your teeth, making you more prone to tooth decay or fracture. If you are going to use this method to whiten your teeth, just make sure that you use it in moderation.

Strawberries are another wonderful tooth whitening fruit. Although strawberries can stain clothing, they can actually whiten your teeth! This is due to the acids found within the fruit itself. However, just like lemon juice it is best if you don’t use this too often. Remember to always brush with regular tooth paste right after using strawberries to whiten your teeth.

Another of the great teeth whitening home remedies is baking soda. Not only will baking soda work wonders for whitening your teeth, it will also kill bad breath bacteria as it is a natural deodorizer. Your teeth will be left wonderfully clean, whiter, and your breath will smell wonderful as well.

These home remedies are great to use occasionally but if you want true whitening powder, you should try a product like AltaWhite swabs, which can whiten your teeth dramatically in a short period of time.

Teeth whitening home remedies can be great occasionally. Most of these home remedies can be done simply by using products that you can find quite easily around the house. Even if you don’t have these products around the house, they can be purchased incredibly cheap at any grocery store.
