Shakespeare was a nice movie, but to me SVP was much superior. Sure the action was great, but I found the characters and the acting to be top notch as well. To me, you could find a movie similar to Shakespeare pretty much every year. But since SVP, has there been a movie that has come close to equalling what SVP achieved? Nope. Even over a decade later, SVP is still looked upon as a landmark film and is never forgotten, while with SIL how often do people speak of it? Hardly ever.

I used to agree with that. On reflection though, I think it deserved to win. Private Ryan was an awesome 30 mins, which was followed by a couple of hours of drivel punctuated by some amazing combat scenes and great tension. It's still a great movie, but I think SIL is a better movie. Hanks and Spielberg have twice (to my knowledge) teamed up on a movie that was followed by an HBO series. In both cases I thought the series was better (Band of Brothers and From the Earth to the Moon).

I don't think that Shakespeare should be taughteither, certainly not in secondary schools, when i learnt Macbeth in school about 5 or 6 years ago the story was almost completley overlooked, one small section was anylised and that was it, thisisnt what Shakespeare is about. btw apparently there are loads of shakespeare references in Blackadder series 2, so dont think that the people that make blackadder are shakespeare haters lol, im pretty sure theyre fans.

Shakespeare should be a personal experience. It should not be taught or tested on because each person takes away from their plays something different. Like most good poetry, Shakespeare is rather subjective. Although, this did make me laugh, especially after high school taught Shakespeare. :D Stress reliever? It helps that Colin Firth is acting.

It is funny how people confuse the two sides of the spectrum. A "big bum" is not attractive. At least not because its big. A shapely well rounded rear is attractive. Though funny, this has become one of my all time favorites after one listen, as this is a not only a musical accomplishment as far a talent is concerned, but also as far as lyrical achievement, good writing, filming, producing and talent as a whole. Great job to all involved and I will go on to listen to more of your work and spread the word to the masses. Keep it up for as long as you can. This kind of masterpiece sets the bar for kids like me.

They are pure genius. This is a take on two of Shakespeare's Sisters videos. They mananged to splice a parody of "Stay" and "I Don't Care" into one song. I cannot believe how much they look like Siobhan and Marcella. The makeup is perfect. If this spoof isn't a subtle form of compliment, then I don't know what is. @8787nichole Shakespears Sister is one woman, Siobhan Fahey (with the guitar), Marcella Detroit (that voice) was brought in by the record company because the first album with just Siobhan flopped. Stay is the only song that Marcella sings lead vocals on and it was by far the biggest hit, Siobhan did not like that and she kicked Marcella out of the band just after this performance, that's why it was the last. Shakespears sister started with 1 woman and after 'Stay' it went back to being just 1.

The great thing is that people get on him for his 1960s album but this is the same thing he was doing then, updating classics to a new art form to reach new people. Sorry to say this XJR met her end in August '07, at the hands of a landrover pulling out of a driveway (not long after a 3,500 mile trip to Italy and back). I did 24,000 miles on her, and there was over 30k on the clock when she was totalled. Dunno about the sump comment, but I did hundreds of wheelies and the motor was perfect at 30K, running better than ever. Hey - I haven't got silver hair either (well, a few round the back maybe!).

I first watched this video ages ago...how come I haven't commented yet??? I LOVE this video! It makes me cry every time! Shakespeare has always been my favourite from the moment I saw him go back and check on the pups when Yossarian ran off from babysitting duties. I sat there bawling my eyes out after that battle with the Lazuli. This is a beautiful video, well done. Shakespeare forever!

umm, yeah, that's what meerkat manor said, but meerkat manor lies a lot, and that's the truth, i went to the KMP site and because i'm a friend, i went to his profile and it writes that he disappeared a day beforoe, and then she was seen in a wild group... and i think that's the truth =D =)

@FlowerWhiskers23 Shakespear was babysitting when the Lazuli attacked, he went into the Burow, but he disappeared after and was presumably dead, but he's body was never found.
